HOUSTON - As part of Houston Children's Charity Christmas Program, parents of an estimated 20,000 underprivileged children had the opportunity to holiday "shop" for their kids.
Parents were able to select toys including board games, stuffed animals, basketballs, dolls and bicycles. Nearly 4,000 kids also received a new bed for Christmas. Due to the generosity of so many, over 80,000 toys were distributed to local children this year.
This generous initiative was spearheaded by Houston Children's Charity, U.S. Marine Corps Toy for Tots program and Houston First Corporation.
