Home business catches fire in NW Houston

HOUSTON- The Harris County Fire Marshall is investigating a business fire at a home in northwest Houston early Saturday morning. 

According to the Northwest Fire Department, they responded to a house fire around 12:15 a.m. on Killough Drive at West Montgomery Road. Upon arrival, they found a home that was converted into a business in flames.

Fire fighters immediately pulled a second alarm, They had some difficulty fighting the fire because of the distance from a fire hydrant. 

There was no one home at the time of the fire and no injuries. Fire fighters said the house is a total loss.  

A male suspectwas arrested  who may have started the fire.  

The fire is under investigation by the Harris County Fire Marshal.
