HFD puts out 2-alarm fire at abandoned hotel

HOUSTON -- Houston firefighters kept busy overnight with a two-alarm fire on the north side.

It was late Wednesday when an abandoned hotel along the North Freeway near Glenburnie caught fire.

Responding firefighters found heavy flames shooting through the roof. They quickly got it under control to keep it from spreading to nearby apartments.
