HOUSTON -- An accident briefly blocked all northbound main lanes of the Gulf Freeway at Clear Lake City Boulevard early Monday.
The crash was reported shortly before 7 a.m. Crews briefly closed all of the freeway's lanes to clear the wreckage out of the way.
The freeway reopened around 8 a.m., relieving the rush hour backup that lasted for miles.
According to Houston TranStar, the crash involved four vehicles. There was no immediate word on injuries.
