KHOU.com staff report

GALVESTON—More than 400 animals from Moody Gardens are getting a new home.

They are temporarily moving to the Houston Zoo while employees work to re-open Moody gardens.

With all the power outages, many people are heading to the zoo, a zoo spokesperson said.

They had 5000 people a day this past week, which is up from their usual 1000.
