Galveston luxury condos tower high above the beach

GALVESTON, Texas—It’s a first for Galveston – a skyscraper on the beach!
Make that two skyscrapers.
They tower 27 stories above the shore and will soon be home to 288 families.
The Palisade Palm Condominium Towers open next month.
They’re already 95 percent sold out, and the developers are making plans to build six more towers next door.
Homes at the Palisades have been selling from $500,000 - $1.6 million.
