Family pleads for justice

FULSHEAR, Texas -- Family members of a Fort Bend County woman who was fatally stabbed last December are pleading for help in finding her killer.

Police said Marwan Saeed and Kevin Chase Cypher posed as delivery men and went to Martha Fields' home in Fulshear.

The suspects stabbed Fields several times while demanding money.

The retired teacher was tied up, but was able to call 911.

She died two days later at an area hospital.

“I had a really special relationship with my mom,” the victim’s daughter, Laura Fields, said Friday. “She was so special and she loved us. It is so painful… not only to have lived seeing what happened to our mother, but to know that the killer is still out there.”

Martha Field's husband of 29 years said justice needs to be done.

“I saw what he did to my wife. We stayed in the hospital for three days as she died a very painful death," Jim Fields said Friday. "We want him brought to justice, but at the same time we don’t want him to do this to some other family and put some other family what we’ve been through."

Cypher and accused getaway driver Angela Lara remain in the Fort Bend County Jail.

But Police haven't been able to track down Saeed.

The 28-year-old should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you know anything about the suspect still on the run, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
