Sugar Land police think the man who robbed a bank there has struck again in Austin.
APD
This is a surveillance picture from the Austin robbery.
The Washington Mutual at 4997 Sweetwater Blvd. was hit Jan. 8.
Then, on Jan. 14, a Wachovia Bank in Austin was robbed.
SLPD said the suspect wore a cap and carried a black shoulder bag. He told the teller he had a weapon, demanded money and left on foot.
Police think the man hit the same banks in 2006, as well as a Houston bank on Oct. 12, 2006.
He's described to be 6 feet tall, weighing 155 pounds with blue-grey eyes and dirty blond hair. At one robbery, he wore a red cap, white shirt and black pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact SLPD at (281) 275-2500 or the Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS.
