A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing at a Katy bonfire early Thursday morning.
Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office officials said the unidentified teen has been charged with murder. They would not provide any additional information on the arrest or if any more suspects were being sought.
Two men are in the hospital and one is dead after the altercation at that bonfire.
The incident happened at 2044 Saddlehorn Trail around 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
More than 60 people were at the bonfire when 20-year-old resident Matthew Haltom asked one of the guests to leave.
The guest left, but then returned with two friends. They allegedly stabbed Haltom and two others: Joe Eoidice and Joe Arnold.
Eoidice is in critical condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital, and Arnold is in good condition.
