HOUSTON -- A Fort Bend County teacher remained in jail Monday, charged with sexual assault of a child.
Rebecca Ann Bramlett, 33, was a language arts teacher at Baines Middle School.
She resigned after she was caught with a teen in her car, who she identified to police as her boyfriend.
Bramlett’s bond was reduced from $500,000 to $40,000. Officials confirmed Monday that inquiries had been made about the bond, and they expected Bramlett would post soon.
When she is released, Bramlett will be forced to wear a satellite ankle monitor and give up her passport.
