Skinny inmate caught after escaping through air vent at Waller Co. jail

HOUSTON -- A skinny inmate who made his escape by squeezing through an air vent at the Waller County jail was back in custody Wednesday.
Darryl Layne Norris escaped from the jail on Saturday.
Officials say he actually lost weight so he could fit through the vent.
He was arrested without incident at a Red Roof Inn in northwest Houston after investigators received a tip on his whereabouts.
