TEXAS CITY, Texas -- Several law enforcement agencies are rounding up drug suspects in Pearland and Texas City on Thursday morning.
It's a part of something called Operation Bust Out.
About 50 agents were briefed before heading out to start knocking on doors with their 41 indictments.
One woman was arrested for possession of controlled substance as a team made three arrests early Thursday.
The operation is part of a 3-month-long investigation in which three police agencies -- Pearland, Texas City police and the Galveston County Sheriff's Department, gathered together to deliver one message to drug dealers: We don't want you in our community.
Police said 39 of the indictments are adults; two are for juveniles. All suspects face felony charges.
