New law could put repeat sex offender behind bars for life
04:51 PM CST on Monday, February 11, 2008
Prosecutors say a Houston man who served five years for molesting two boys molested a third as soon as he got out of prison.
That means J.W. Milton Adams could go to prison for life.
Under a new law that went into effect in September, repeat sex offenders are required to receive automatic life sentences.
It’s called “Jessica’s Law,” and it’s one of the toughest sex crime laws in the nation.
