Details were revealed Tuesday in the case of a Spring Westfield High School teacher's alleged sexual encounter with a teenager.

Shannon Kay Hrozek, 42, is a 10th grade English teacher at Westfield.

According to court documents, the boy said Hrozek told him to come back after school. He said she started rubbing him, pulled his pants down and began performing oral sex on him as he was seated in a classroom chair.

A school principal used a master key to get into the classroom after a janitor had informed him that the teacher and a student were in the room alone with the lights off.

Court documents stated that the principal caught the teacher, in the dark, bending over the student in a compromising position.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted sexual assault of a child charges Monday morning. Hrozek was being held in the Harris County Jail but posted a $50,000 bond Monday night.

She is on paid leave.

She is the third Spring ISD teacher in the last four months that has been charged with having sex with a student.

"We are never pleased to have to report a situation of this manner more than once," Spring ISD Assistant Superintendent Regina Curry said. "Unfortunately, in neighboring school districts, across the state of Texas and across our nation, we're hearing more and more of situations that are happening like this ... that's not acceptable."

Last month Carlos Valencia, another Westfield teacher, was charged with having sex with a FFA student.

In October, teacher Alison Moesbeck from Duett Middle School was charged with sexual assault of a child. She's accused of taking a 14-year-old student to several area hotels for sex.

“There was no indication for us to be concerned about this particular teacher or any of the others,” Curry said.

Administrators say each teacher passed a thorough background check.

“Honestly, it puts a bad word out there for the school,” Westfield senior Geovanny Dominguez said.

Hrozek was released on bail Monday night.  She’s scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

Hrozek has been with the district in 2004.  She started as a middle school teacher before moving to Westfield.
