Man jailed after kidnapping woman, baby

A man who posed as an AT&T salesman is in the Harris County Jail Friday.
Authorities said the man, Jeff McClendon, conned a woman into opening the door to her northwest Houston home in the Fall Creek Subdivision.
He then kidnapped her and her four-month-old baby.
Police said McClendon took the two by knifepoint to the woman’s bank and forced her to withdraw $5,000.
McClendon is charged with aggravated kidnapping and robbery.
