A man, who police say attempted to break into a home, was hospitalized
after being shot by a homeowner Wednesday night.
Houston police report that the man apparently tried to break into a home
on Lomax in north Houston around 9:30 p.m., when the homeowner allegedly
shot the man through the door as he tried to enter the home.
There is no word at this time if charges will be filed against the
homeowner. The case has been referred to the D.A.'s office.
