HOUSTON – A driver attempting to pass maintenance crews on the North Freeway ended up slamming into the back of the one of their trucks overnight.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday near North Main.
At that time, a car with two occupants attempted to go around the maintenance crew's slower moving trucks.
The driver of the car went around them, but apparently did not see the lead truck in the front as he swerved back into the left lane in the space between the first and second truck.
The car then slammed into the back end of the lead truck.
No one was injured.
