FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS - Emergency crews rushed to a Friendswood park Monday afternoon when a car plowed through a fence and into the park.

Several children were playing in the park at the time, according to witnesses.

A woman reportedly pushed a 10-year-old boy out of the car's path just in the nick of time. The woman and boy were taken to an area hospital to be checked out.

There were no serious injuries reported.

The woman driving the car reportedly had some sort of medical episode and blacked out, according to deputies at the scene.

It happened just before 4:30 p.m. at Heritage Park on West El Dorado Blvd. and Pilgrims Point Drive.
