Suspect wanted following bank robbery in NW Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - The FBI has released photos of a wanted suspect following a bank robbery near Jersey Village.

According to authorities, the Prosperity Bank located at 9155 W Sam Houston Parkway N was robbed Tuesday  around 10 a.m. The suspect reportedly entered the bank with a duffel bag, showed a weapon and a couple of devices that he claimed were explosive and demanded money. 

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot, leaving behind the two devices which were later deemed harmless.

The suspect is described as an extremely thin white male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall. He was wearing glasses, a black and white long-sleeve shirt and dark slacks. He wore a plaid fedora hat which he dropped and was recovered by investigators.
