Raising Cane's mascot dies at age 17

The beloved mascot of Raising Cane’s has died, according to the restaurant’s official Facebook page.

The announcement came Sunday, along with a photo of the dog, Raising Cane II.


According to the restaurant’s website, founder and CEO Todd Graves named the chain after his dog. Raising Cane II, a yellow Labrador, was a Christmas gift from his wife after the death of another dog, Raising Cane I.
