MAGNOLIA, Texas -- An Amber Alert has been sent out and handwritten signs are up in the neighborhood, but no one has seen the 14-year-old missing girl since Monday.
Her heartbroken dad, Patrick Rex, says she's a daddy's girl.

"I love her so much," said Rex. "She's my number one"
The 14-year old lives in Magnolia's Victoria Village where she is homeschooled.
Her parents say she has a touch of Down Syndrome, autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD).
"What that means is even though she is at the age of 14, she's actually mind-wise that of a 5 to 6 year old child," said Jennifer Black, the victim's mother.
Her family is sure she was taken by 51-year-old Randy Johnson. He worked with Patrick Rex and knew another family friend too.
The victim's family took him in after learning he was battling colon cancer and had nowhere to go.
They kicked him out after he got a little too friendly with their daughter.
"I mean we were literally listening to every conversation and it was in code,” said Black. "So once we decided what the codes were, it was like you have to go you can't be here."
On Monday, the girl walked outside and simply vanished.
Her parents knew nothing until they received a call from Johnson taunting them.
"He calls us and says, ‘Y'all will never see her again and things like that cuz where we're going you can't get there,’" said Rex. "Not even ten minutes later he calls back and goes, ‘La-la-la-la.’"
Johnson doesn't have a car but her dad is sure they got a ride and are headed south to his hometown of Harlingen.
Montgomery County detectives have asked her family to stay put and not to go after her, but they fear she will be gone forever.
"Even though I pray and I pray and I pray that he's gonna bring her home, but at this point in time I don't think so," Said her mom.
