HOUSTON—Houston police were investigating Sunday after a woman’s decomposing body was found in her home in the heights.
Patrol officers responded to a welfare check at the home in the 200 block of West 18th Street around 11:05 p.m.
They entered to find a 37-year-old woman lying dead in the kitchen.
Her identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
