HOUSTON – Police said late Wednesday an autopsy would be needed to determine the cause of death for a woman who was found next to a north Houston roadway.
It was around 9:45 p.m. when Houston Police Department officers were called to Firnat Street at Harrell Street. They said it was first thought the woman may have been hit by a car, but homicide investigators said they could not find any signs of trauma to her body.
It wasn’t immediately clear if police were able to determine the woman’s identity.
