HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -– A driver and his wife were questioned after hitting a pedestrian on FM 1960 early Tuesday, deputies said.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. near Cypress Station Drive.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a woman stepped into a dark part of the roadway. A male driver in a Camry was heading eastbound and was not able to stop in time.
The pedestrian was sent to the hospital where she was expected to survive.
The driver stayed at the scene.
Deputies later determined the pedestrian was at-fault and no charges are expected to be filed.
