HOUSTON—Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are trying to determine which driver was at fault when an 18-wheeler and another motorist collided in northwest Harris County Tuesday night.
Deputies said a 57-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Clay Rd. around 11:15 p.m. when her Toyota was T-boned by a big rig traveling southbound on Greenhouse. The woman was trapped inside her vehicle until being freed by Heavy Rescue, then transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious, but stable condition.
The truck driver was not injured.
Both drivers each claimed to have had the green light.
