Woman accused of shoplifting from Walmart leads Baytown police on chase

BAYTOWN, Texas –- Police said Sunday night a woman led them on a wild chase across three counties.

It finally came to an end in Montgomery County

Police in Baytown said the chase started when the woman was caught shoplifting at a Walmart. She sped off and made it to the Eastex Freeway.

Police said she eventually stopped and tried to run, but officers took her down with a stun gun.

She’s now facing a long list of charges.
