HOUSTON – Police said they were investigating late Tuesday to see who ran a red light in a crash that injured a female driver.
According to the Houston Police Department, the crash occurred around 10 p.m. as the woman traveled westbound on the Beltway 8 frontage road at JFK Boulevard, not far from Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Police said the woman was driving alone in her Pontiac Grand Am when she t-boned a Dodge Avenger traveling north on JFK. HPD said it wasn’t immediately clear who ran the red light.
The woman was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Two men in the Dodge were not injured.
