HOUSTON—A fatal accident shut down all westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway Thursday in west Harris County.
Investigators said a vehicle hit and killed a woman on the freeway just west of the Grand Parkway around 8:30 p.m.
Police were making drivers get off at the Katy-Fort Bend Road exit as they investigated the scene.
