HOUSTON – A woman was charged with murder Tuesday in connection with the death of her baby.
Stephanie Hamilton was originally charged in June 2012 with felony injury to a child. She’s accused of striking the child with an unknown object and failing to seek medical attention in a timely matter, according to court documents.
The child has since died and a grand jury has handed down a murder charge.
Her bond was set at $200,000.
