Woman accused of being crack dealer arrested in Bacliff drug bust

BACLIFF, Texas – Authorities moved in Wednesday and arrested a woman they believed was selling crack cocaine after conducting surveillance on her home.

Shamekia Deshon Henderson, was charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance; a first degree felony.

The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes United executed a narcotics search warrant at the home located in the 4900 block of Chase Stone Dr around 4:15 p.m. The 38-year-old suspect had been under investigation for over two months.

Detectives recovered a total of 18.7 grams of cocaine in the form of crack, 9.1 grams of powder cocaine, along with a digital scale and $339. Henderson was already on felony probation for the same felony in Galveston County.

Her bond was set at $60,000.00.

SCU was assisted by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division, Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol Division.
