HOUSTON – A Houston teen and two of his friends badly beat a Westfield High School student when they jumped the young man one day after school, according to Spring ISD.
Willie Ta’waun Eleby Jr., 17, was charged with aggravated assault.
The victim said he was walking home, southbound on Ella Boulevard, when Eleby and two others approached him on the sidewalk on October 30.
Eleby allegedly told the young man “If you fight one of us, you have to fight all of us,” then lunged for him.
The victim tried to run away, but Eleby caught him and slammed him to the ground, according to court documents.
The other two boys joined in, kicking and beating the victim.
The beaten student was taken to Kingwood Minor Care Facility for treatment. He sustained two fractured bones in his right forearm, which had to be set in a cast and sling.
Eleby’s bail was set at $30,000.
