HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A state trooper was sent to the hospital after he rolled his car during a chase in northwest Harris County early Tuesday morning.
According to a DPS spokesman, the trooper was trying to stop a suspect near North Eldridge Parkway and Clay Road when he lost control and flipped his car three times. The police cruiser came to a stop upside down in a ditch.
The trooper was not seriously injured and was released from the hospital a short time later.
A responding deputy with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office also crashed on the slick roads. He was sent to the hospital as a precaution and was not seriously injured.
