KINGWOOD, Texas—Three teens are in custody in connection with a recent robbery spree in Kingwood and Humble.
Wesley James Thomas, 19, Reginald Thomas, 18 and Michael Augustus Thomas, 18, are charged with three counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
The suspects are not related.
The first two robberies happened last month in the Kingwood Town Center.
The victim was using his laptop outside the Russo’s New York Pizzeria at 42 North Main Street around 10:45 p.m. on September 19. Two suspects stole his computer and wallet at gunpoint and fled on foot. One of the robbers was later captured on surveillance camera trying to use the victim’s credit card to withdraw money from an ATM on Atascocita Road.
The second robbery happened outside the McDonald’s at 4406 Kingwood Drive around 10:40 p.m. on September 25. Two suspects robbed a man and two women at gunpoint as they sat on the tailgate of a truck in the parking lot. They stole cell phones and ran away on foot.
Surveillance photos were released on October 7 and the suspects were picked up by Harris County authorities the next day. They were charged in the three Humble area robberies.
Officers in Kingwood believe they were involved in those two robberies, but they haven't been charged yet.
