HOUSTON—Thousands of people lined up at the George R. Brown Convention Center to dine and share in the holiday spirit. The Big Super Feast is more than just a big meal, it’s a time for families to come together for the holidays.
“It brings a smile to the children and they enjoy coming every year,” said Velencia Green.
In addition to the food, they are also giving out coats and clothes and making sure every child has the chance to meet Santa and get a gift.
“This is what Christmas is all about, being with your family you love on,” said Eddie Montgomery.
Organizers say giving is what it’s all about.
“It’s important that we support those in the community who need help, because who know, tomorrow it might be you or I,” said Stephanie Lewis.
