HOUSTON -- Ringling Brothers has brought the “Greatest Show on Earth” back to Houston for another run. The show begins Thursday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. and will be at Reliant Stadium until Sunday, July 28.

Matinee performances begin this Saturday and continue through the run of the show.

“I just never had the opportunity as a kid, very unfortunate, but, you know, maybe I can show my kid a good time,” said Juve Carillo, who has never attended the circus but plans to take his son.

Ticketholders who arrive an hour and a half before the show can attend the animal open house.

"Where you can check out all of our tigers, all of our elephants, all of our snakes and all that stuff – kind of like a zoo almost,” said one of the clowns.

Fans get a chance to meet performers as well.

Tickets for the circus start at $17. You can also purchase $10 children’s tickets at Chick-Fil-A. On the high-end, tickets run from $125 to $146, depending on service fees levied by the ticket selling outfit.

What do you get for that kind of money?

“Well one of the really cool things that you get for our Circus Celebrity ticket is you get to be a part of the show,” said senior elephant handler Joey Frisco. “You are down on the floor.”

“Lots of cotton candy,” said Melissa Stevenson when asked what the high-end ticket would have to include in order for her to purchase it.

“There should be all bells and whistles and everything you can provide,” said Shaundalyn Arceneaux.
