TEXAS -- Police officers in Texas are wearing more than just uniforms these days.

Body cameras can be mounted to shirt collars or sunglasses.

They're designed to capture what happens away from the view of a dash cam, like one recent traffic stop in Cleburne, outside of Dallas.

Recorded incidents can be downloaded, but they can't be altered or edited.

Police said the cameras protect officers and the public.
