HOUSTON -– Terminal B at Bush Intercontinental Airport resumed full operations early Friday, airport officials said.
KHOU 11’s Larry Seward was at the scene in the early morning hours, and security lines and check-in counters appeared to have a regular flow of passengers.
This is the opposite of Thursday’s scene. It was around 1:35 p.m. when a man walked into the terminal and reportedly opened fire, shooting into the air. He then took his own life at the same time a Homeland Security officer fired at home, an early investigation indicated.
The shooting forced officials to close the terminal, causing flight delays and displaced passengers.
Overnight, some portions of the terminal remained roped off for the investigation.
