HOUSTON – A flight out of Houston, which was headed to New York, had to be diverted Saturday night to Memphis after a passenger allegedly made a terroristic threat.

According to the TSA, a 27-year-old man got into a physical altercation with the crew on United Flight 1435. Reports say the man also made threatening remarks after being confronted for sitting on one of the jump seats, which are used by non-cockpit crew members during the flight.

The suspect had to be restrained with flex cuffs and transported to a hospital in Memphis for evaluation. A passenger on the flight recorded video of him being taken off the plane.

The FBI is investigating the incident.
