FORT BEND, Texas—Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects involved in the armed robberies of a salon and cell phone store, hit just one hour apart, on December 20, 2013.
Deputies were called to the scene of an aggravated robbery at the Get Wireless Cricket Store located in the 9400 block of Highway 6 South around 5:40 p.m. Store personnel told deputies that two men entered the store and threatened them with a gun.
One suspect was wearing what appeared to be a white t-shirt wrapped around his face and he also was wearing a white baseball cap. The suspect was holding a handgun and told everyone in the store to get on the ground. The suspect took cash from the register and from a customer in the store while the other suspect was on watch, looking out the door, investigators said. The second suspect was wearing a white hoodie and called the man with the gun “Chris.”
Then around 6:38 p.m., deputies received another call about two suspects robbing the RJ Salon, which is near the Get Wireless Cricket store, but across Highway 6. The first suspect still had a t-shirt wrapped around his face and was wearing dark clothing. He ordered an employee to open the cash drawer and she complied. He is estimated to be between 18 and 25 years of age.
The second suspect again was posted as a lookout. After the two got the cash, they left the building. Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
