WHARTON, Texas—Two suspects wanted for questioning in the slaying of a Reagan High School teacher were arrested in Cameron County Friday night.

Heladio Rojas Perales, 35, of Galena Park, was found dead in his SUV Thanksgiving morning in Fort Bend County.   Investigators believe he was killed at a residence in the city of Wharton earlier that week.
Monica Perez, 24, and Michael Moreno, 23, both of Wharton, were arrested while crossing back into the U.S. at an international bridge in Brownsville. They were transported on a DPS airplane back to Wharton County Saturday afternoon.
Perez and Moreno were arrested on charges of hindering apprehension and are being held in the Wharton County Jail. A third suspect, identified as 21-year-old Ramon Vega of Wharton, is still at large.
The arrests were the result of a joint investigation by the Texas Rangers and the Wharton Police Department.
