HOUSTON – A woman was rushed to the hospital Thursday after she was shot in her leg south of downtown Houston, police said.
HPD said the shooting occurred around noon in the Third Ward, near Francis and Nettleton.
Air 11 was over the scene and spotted several officers gathering evidence.
The victim was rushed to the hospital. Her condition was unknown.
A detailed suspect description was not available, but police said they were looking for a white Chrysler.
