HOUSTON—Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are on the hunt for a suspect who robbed a First Convenience Bank inside a Kroger store Tuesday morning.
It happened at the store located at 1461 Spring Cypress and the North Freeway.
Deputies said the suspect walked into the bank around 10:15 a.m. and demanded money.
The suspect was armed with a handgun, but did not fire any shots and no one was injured.
He fled the scene with an unspecified amount of cash and headed north on I-45 North.
The suspect is said to be in his mid-20s, stands about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a brown, plaid, button-down shirt, jeans and a tan baseball cap.
