HOUSTON – The FBI has released a photo of the gunman who held up an armored car driver inside a Randalls store Tuesday.
The driver was confronted as he was opening an ATM machine in the lobby of the Randalls on West Bellfort near South Post Oak, according to the FBI.
The robber stuck a high-calibur gun to the guard's stomach and grabbed the guard's gun. He fled with an unknown amount of cash.
The guard wasn't injured.
Witnesses said that money was scattered all over the floor of the lobby.
A getaway driver was waiting in a white F-250 pickup and the two men got away.
Witnesses described the robber as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, around 5'9 and 175 pounds with a slim build. He was wearing a tan or off-white button-down shirt, jeans, a black ball cap with a silver star on it and sunglasses.
The surveillance photo released Wednesday only captured a partial photo of the gunman. In the photo, he has a bushy beard, but it's not clear if it's real or fake.
There was no description available for the getaway driver.
The FBI also released a photo of the white pickup the two suspects were in. No one was able to get a license plate for the truck.
