Sugar Land police: Teen robbery suspect evaded arrest, still at large

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Police in Sugar Land are on the hunt for a 19-year-old Missouri City man wanted for aggravated robbery.

According to investigators, the 24-year-old victim was with another person at a park near Great Oak Lane and Gray Birch around 2 a.m. on July 3, 2012, when the robbery occurred.

The victim said he was approached by two men with a gun. The men then reportedly demanded money, beat the victim and took off with cash, a phone and his car.

Police said the phone and the vehicle were later found at an apartment complex in Missouri City.

Erin Malbroue and Keenan Rogers, both of Missouri City, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Officers tried to arrest Erin Rogers, but they said he fled on foot and got away.

As of Wednesday, his location was not known.

Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
