HOUSTON – Houston’s air quality has improved over the past 15 years, but we still have some of the worst air in the nation.

The American Lung Association has just released its State of the Air 2014 report.

Houston ranks as the 6th most polluted city in the country – last year we were 7th.

We had nearly 29 high ozone days in 2011 and 2012, the most recent years of available data.

Overall, we received an “F” grade for ozone.
