HOUSTON—A teen who just didn’t feel like going to school one morning was charged with a felony after calling in a fake bomb threat, according to Houston police.
Artie Lee Smith, 18, was charged with making a false alarm or report.
Smith, who attended Houston Can Academy, confessed to calling in the threat on December 4 after police tracked him down. He said he just didn’t want to go to school that day, investigators said.
Smith was arrested and later released on $2,000 bond.
