ROSENBERG, Texas—A Stafford police officer was recovering Friday after accidentally shooting himself in the leg.
It happened Thursday night at a police gun range on Avenue A in Rosenberg.
Officers from all over Fort Bend County go to that range to practice shooting.
The injured officer, who was not identified, was still in the hospital Friday morning.
