HOUSTON -- The westbound lanes of the South Loop were slow early Monday after a truck accident near the exit for Fannin blocked two main lanes.
The crash happened shortly before 4 a.m., according to the website for Houston TranStar. Around 8:30 a.m. the lanes reopened.
Only one vehicle, a truck, was involved in the crash. A hazmat crew was called in due to fuel on the roadway.
Traffic was backed up past Highway 288.
