LEAGUE CITY, Texas—League City investigators say 54-year-old John Timler tried to kill himself shortly after his arrest.
Timler is accused of burying his mother, 73-year-old Joyce Timler, in their yard after she died and forging her checks.
It’s still not clear what caused her death.
Timler is currently charged with abuse of a corpse and forgery.
