HOUSTON—Many of you have asked about the smell of smoke this morning. Our viewers have reported the odor from all over the air including Katy, Clear Lake and Rice.
A spokesperson with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says it’s coming from marsh fires between Galveston and Port Arthur.
They are monitoring at this time, and say the smoke should be dissipating by this afternoon.
